ROSARIO SINATRA is full Professor in Applied Mechanics/Mechatronics at the University of Catania, Italy. He is president of the study courses in mechanical engineering and coordinator of various cooperation projects. His academic training took place between the University of Catania, and the McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He is author of more then 120 papers, including those published on specialized journals and international conferences. The main tasks are Kinematics and Dynamics of Robotic Mechanical Systems, Static and balancing of mechanical systems, undewater robotics and sensors, Mechatronics, Mechanical of vibrations. For his International recognition he is often invited speaker and is a revisor/editorial board in scientific journal of his field of science. He is scientific responsible for national and international research projects.
