Petramay has worked on the MEDIWARN project as a Research Support Officer on behalf of the University of Malta, since the start of MEDIWARN in May 2018. By profession, Petramay is a specialist in anaesthetics and intensive care medicine, working at Mater Dei Hospital. She graduated as Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (University of Malta) in 2008 and obtained the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care in 2015. Petramay is a Course Director and Instructor for the European Resuscitation Council on Basic, Immediate, Advanced and Paediatric Life Support Courses. She has published, mainly in the field of obstetric anaesthesia, and has presented at international congresses. In 2016, Petramay was awarded the Young Teaching Recognition Award by the European Society of Anaesthesiology. She is currently reading for a Master degree in Medical Education at the University of Dundee.
