Prof. Alessandro Cammarata

Alessandro Cammarata graduated in Mechanical Engineering V.O. in 2004, with 110/110 marks and honors. In 2008 he obtained his PhD in Structural Mechanics, with a thesis entitled "Dynamic study of the McGill Schönflies motion generator". In 2009 he was the winner of a research grant, in the ING-IND/13 sector, on a study entitled: "Large deployable reflectors in orbit" in collaboration with the Thales-Alenia Space company in Rome. In 2010 he received a research grant for the "Solar" research project. From November 1, 2011 to March 2, 2020 he served as a researcher in the sector ING-IND/13 Applied Mechanics. Since 2 March 2020 he has been associate professor in the same sector ING-IND/13 and belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture (DICAR) of the University of Catania. Alessandro Cammarata is the author and coauthor of over 60 publications in national and international journals and conference proceedings.
